The new bonus question is confusing me...

How often did an Italian team win the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix? 6
8
10
12
14
16

I thought the answer was 11, but obviously there aint an option for that. Wiki says the same...

Multiple winners (constructors)

Ferrari: 11
Mclaren: 8
Lotus: 7
Williams: 7
Bugatti: 3
Mercedes-Benz: 2

Obviously I'm missing one, is there an Italian team that only won the race once?

I'm not sure about the driving physics, hopefully they choose to either go down the fun arcade route or the simulation route, and don't come out with some mutant between the two that doesn't really work like the first game. But the biggest change I'm looking for is improved sounds, the engines sounded weak in TDU, the sounds didn't carry very far either. If there are Zonda's and Ferrari's racing each other a few streets away from me, I want to be able to hear the echoing howls from their engines, and if I am cruising through some tunnels I want multiple eargasms.

I thought the part where I wrote "sure it might kill you a bit" was the giveaway.

At least I know what sarcasm is.

Nobody cares, smoking is cool, sure it might kill you a bit but surely it's a price worth paying for looking cool.

I think that's how it's pronounced. Any Icelanders here?

I pronounce it "that volcano" most people understand what I mean.

Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :so does that quote mean that they are having trouble because demand for their products is too high?

Yep, they can't keep up with the demand, so they have pulled their sponsorship of Triple Eight. I doubt they even did basic research before getting involved with the team, even looking on the teams website would be enough, or going to a shopping center and asking people who Giovanardi is. The first thing you notice on their website is the list of championships they have won...

2001-2004
BTCC Triple Champions
2005
BTCC Manufacturer Champions
2007
BTCC Double Champions
2008
BTCC Triple Champions
2009
BTCC Double Champions

...I would take one look at that and realise just how much exposure my brand would get if I put giant stickers of my logo on the side of their cars.

While you guys have this debate about who is the better driver you are missing all the important stories. I bet nobody has even heard about Alonso's thumbs, am I right?

How long will it be before Kubica insures his nose?

“We severely underestimated the impact that our brand exposure would have on the demand for certain products and services in the UK market, so to maintain sponsorship with Triple 8 would actually present us with a series of business problems,” a UNIQ spokesman told this week’s AUTOSPORT magazine.

What a load of utter bollocks. I'm assuming they did no research before deciding to sponsor Triple Eight, perhaps they just thought it was a couple of crappy Vauxhalls in a racing series only a few people watched. When infact it's the most successful team, in the most popular touring car series in the UK, with one of the all time great tintop drivers in their lineup!

They just had a lucky start so they have more money to spend, that's the only reason they are doing better. With the money our top teams have I think we have done a better job.

Bang Goes the Theory actually covered this in the show today. For those who don't know what Bang Goes the Theory is, it's basically a science/entertainment/educational show on the BBC, and it's very good. They explained why the airspace was closed on this occasion when other volcanic eruptions have had very little impact on air travel in comparison. Basically this type of volcano produces smaller and coarser ash, because it's smaller it travels further in the air and rises higher, and because it's coarser it causes more damage to aircraft and jet engines.

It will probably be on youtube at some point for those of you who can't access the iPlayer, but it's well worth watching.

I'm regretting not switching to Mclaren fuel so I could go with a Renault engine alongside my Renault chassis. But to be honest I didn't expect Petrov to go so well so I played it safe. I would suggest everyone swaps out Force India for Renault if they can afford it.

I took a punt and went with Petrov, hopefully he will finish the damn race.

He still had less understeer than the HRT cars.

The pad balances out, yes you can catch oversteer more easily, but with a wheel you would avoid having that oversteer in the first place. For public racing a pad is good, but as soon as you hit a certain level you need a wheel to compete, especially when it comes to longer races in more powerful cars.

We have a new Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon (which looks amazing). Rainbow Six stopped being good with Raven Shield, maybe Vegas was okay but they ruined it with Vegas 2.

The multiplayer beta demo is on the xbox live marketplace now. I've been playing all day, quickly hit the 15 level cap but it's still insanely fun. It's like Mario Kart crossed with Burnout and PGR. Nothing beats the carnage of 20 people piling into turn 1 all firing different power ups. So far the only annoying thing is the placement of the shocks on some levels, it's way too powerful, especially when you get 19 people deploying them at the same time, it's hard to avoid one let alone a whole laps worth.

I already came up with the best solution ever, hydrogen powered cars. The only emission from a hydrogen powered car is water, scale it up to F1 levels of power and as the race goes on the cars will make the track wet, no need for sprinklers!
